Arnold Krank was a biological researcher at Krasner's Bio-Systems who was the inadvertent creator of Braggadoom. When his creation went out of control, battling the Thing, Krank hired Power Man to help subdue it. After they defeated the creature, shrinking it down to human size, he adopted it and raised it as his son.[1]
