HistoryEdit

Anya was the mother of Magda Lehnsherr, the wife of Magneto. Anya and Magda worked at a school in Nuremberg, Germany, which Max Eisenhardt, Magneto's original name, attended at that time. In 1936 Anya and Magda were sent to Marzahn Detention Camp because of their Gypsy race. Their situation in the following years appeares as unrevealed. At some point, they were deported to Vernichtungslager (Extermination camp) Auschwitz, where Max and Magda were reunited in 1944 and could escape together. Anya herself did not survive the circumstances in the camp.
