Anais was one of three parties looking for Cyclops after he merged with Apocalypse. She hoped that she would be the one to host Apocalypse's essence, but she ultimately failed her goal when her idol was destroyed by Cable.
It is unknown whether or not Anais has retained her powers following the events of M-Day.
