History

In the far future, Aliya was a mutant and a member of the Clan Askani, also known as the Clan Chosen. She fell in love with Cable and the two married. She took the clan name of 'Jenskot' as a tribute to Jean and Scott Summers. She and her sister Hope were part of the forces Cable led against the New Canaanites.

Aliya was captured during a Canaanite raid. While she did not speak of her time as a prisoner, it was hinted that she was tortured and raped by Stryfe. Eventually Cable was able to rescue her.

Aliya later gave birth to a son, Tyler. During a later attack by Stryfe's forces, a bomb was set. Aliya was fatally wounded by the explosion and died in Cable's arms. She asked Cable to take care of Tyler, unaware that Tyler had been abducted.

Aliya briefly appeared to Cable in modern times when she time travelled seeking Cable and Domino to help a younger version of himself.

While recovering from the techno-virus after the Onslaught crisis, Cable experienced a vision of Aliya at peace with Tyler beside her.[1]

Aliya possessed telepathy and telekinesis. It is known that she was less powerful than Cable and Jean Grey.

Notes

  • It is unclear if Hope was Aliya's sister by blood or their association in the Askani sisterhood.
