HistoryEdit

Alex Summers, aka Havok, was the headstrong, brash field leader of the Academy of Tomorrow, the mutant peacekeeping squad of Emma Frost. He was the boyfriend and teammate of Polaris.

He was also the older brother of Cyclops (Scott Summers). Alex and Scott were frequently at odds with each other, both ideologically and physically. Neither brother seemed interested in mending this rift. Ideologically, their rift was evidenced by Alex's affiliation with Emma Frost's Academy of Tomorrow. They also had a physical competition over Polaris, who Cyclops may have dated in the past. In one case, Alex even knocked Scott out with a wrench, though he stated that this was because Scott let him. The two helped each other during times of crisis, but in general, they had a lot of sibling issues separating them. Their powers had no effect on each other.

Ultimatum

Havok managed to escape from Magneto's attack to the Academy of Tomorrow, and is now in some kind of asylum.

Post-Ultimatum

Alex remained at the Kennerman Acres mental institute, where his only company was the imaginary version of his brother Scott. Alex was released from the institute by Nathaniel Essex. Nathaniel brought Alex to Roxxon and is shown to Layla Miller, where they prepare their unknown plans.

Powers and AbilitiesEdit

Powers

Absorb cosmic energies from his environment (such as starlight, x-rays, and gamma radiation) and store them within his body‘s cells, metabolizing the energy in order to;

• Generate plasma wave discharges that super-heat and disintegrate objects
• Create concussion bursts by violently displacing air molecules in his path
• As a burst of thrust to launch him into the air
• Unlike his alternate self of Earth-616, he seams to be able to control his powers
  

NotesEdit

• In the Ultimate Universe, Havok is actually the older brother of Cyclops. He is traditionally the younger sibling in most incarnations of the character.
