History

Monkton was supposedly a Daily Bugle reporter who posed as a representative of Sabretooth's fraction of the Hand in order to confirm the rumors that Wolverine was working for The Offer. After his cover was blown, he was killed by Logan.

It was later revealed Mokton was a S.H.I.E.L.D. LMD, and its mission was to get Logan kill him in front of Offer, in order to gain Offer's trust so that he could trace Sabretooth's whereabouts.
