Origin
With an increasing number in the student body, Cyclops & Emma Frost reorganized the Xavier Institute's educational and training program.[1] The Advocates Squad was advised by Rogue.[2][3]
Members
- Boggart - Robin Wise was green skinned and superhumanly strong. Depowered, and current whereabouts/status unknown.
- Naiad - Aurelie Sabayon could breath underwater. Depowered,[4] and current whereabouts/status unknown.
- Pinpoint - Gerard Cooper possessed telescopic vision. Depowered, and current whereabouts/status unknown.
- Trovão - Pedro de Noli could create sonic booms. Depowered, and current whereabouts/status unknown.
- Umbra - Patrick Nesbitt controlled darkness. Depowered, and current whereabouts/status unknown.
- Xenon - Shaun Kennedy generated light. Depowered, and current whereabouts/status unknown.
M-Day
After M-Day only 27 of 182 enrolled Xavier's students retained their powers. The Advocates were disbanded along with all the other X-Men Training Squads.[5]

Notes
- Since their appearance in Uncanny X-Men #444, none of the members have been shown. Naiad was specifically mentioned as loosing her powers in House of M The Day After #1. Because of their post M-Day absence, it can be safely assumed all were depowered.
Trivia
- The Advocates were only briefly shown once, observing the X-Men training in the Danger Room.
- Rogue's Squad first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #444, but was named in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe A-Z #13.
- Naiad was the only female student member of Advocates Squad.
